Burnham club is well for recovery from The Ashes

A TOWN rugby club is well for recovery after cut more than £ 5,000 worth of equipment in the shed burnt down.

Burnham Rugby Club Blaze lost everything when the season begins in July before a storage container, but by week's footballers.

He said, “We have had a great response since the fire, so many people have come forward in order to help and a lot of work has been done for free”.

“The fundraisers we have had have been fantastic and at the moment we are up to about £5,000, which is exactly where we wanted to be, but there is still about £1,000 to go.”
