A TOWN rugby club is well for recovery after cut more than £ 5,000 worth of equipment in the shed burnt down.

Burnham Rugby Club Blaze lost everything when the season begins in July before a storage container, but by week's footballers.

But Stephen Hull, club president, has not only by members of the club from the city's residents moved to fundraising efforts are appreciated.

He said, “We have had a great response since the fire, so many people have come forward in order to help and a lot of work has been done for free”.

“The fundraisers we have had have been fantastic and at the moment we are up to about £5,000, which is exactly where we wanted to be, but there is still about £1,000 to go.”
